Brotherhood
The Brotherhood ministry is designed for all the men of East Frankfort. We get together for group fellowships, devotions, accountability, softball, and visitation. The Brotherhood also assists our church family during moves and in a variety of service projects.
International Missions
Nicaragua
Matthew 28:19-20
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Jesus’ very words command his followers to take the Gospel across the world. The International Mission Board estimates that over 1.6 billion people don’t even have access to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Romans 10:14-15 says, “And how can they hear without a preacher? And how can they preach unless they are sent?” At East Frankfort we have responded to this call by working alongside a missionary in Nicaragua.
During the summer of 2010, East Frankfort began working with missionary Pablo Garcia in Rio Blanco, Nicaragua. Pablo and his family actively serve in Rio Blanco as church planters. East Frankfort’s involvement has included sending resources to Pablo as well as taking trips to assist in construction, evangelism, children’s ministry and leading Bible studies.
Currently, East Frankfort is planning its second trip during the summer of 2011. For church members interested in participating in this year’s trip, see the informational page below as well as the mission trip application and application update form for those who traveled last year. Applications are due no later than March 6, 2011.
